Oproep: Teken de petitie tegen drinkzakjes

Laten wij proberen de knijp/drinkzakjes o.a. van Capri-Sun - ook wel zuigzakken genoemd - te verbieden of ook statiegeldplichtig te maken.
Ben je het hier mee eens in het belang van de natuur stem dan hier.

Capri-Sun en de strijd tegen plasticvervuiling

De hoeveelheid weggegooide zuigzakjes in de natuur en op straat groeit in een alarmerend tempo. Onlangs heeft Capri-Sun zelfs een petitie gelanceerd om het gebruik van plastic rietjes in Europa opnieuw toe te staan. Volgens de distributeur zijn zowel de zuigzakjes als de plastic rietjes recyclebaar.

Het VuilnisOproer Nieuw-West is van mening dat dit rietjesplan, net als de verpakking van Capri-Sun, volkomen waardeloos is. Deze vorm van plasticvervuiling is minstens zo schadelijk voor de natuur als niet-recyclebaar plastic! Bovendien zijn plastic rietjes en zuigzakjes volledig overbodig.

Daarom hebben wij óók een petitie opgezet: Nederland moet een verbod instellen op deze zuigzakjes of er statiegeld op invoeren om de vervuiling tegen te gaan.

Steun onze petitie en draag bij aan een schonere toekomst en/of ga alle zuigzakken fotograferen die je tegenkomt!

Capri-Sun and the Fight Against Plastic Pollution

The amount of discarded juice pouches in nature and on the streets is growing at an alarming rate. Recently, Capri-Sun launched a petition to reintroduce plastic straws in Europe. According to the distributor, both the juice pouches and the plastic straws are recyclable.

VuilnisOproer Nieuw-West believes that this straw plan, like the Capri-Sun packaging, is completely worthless. This type of plastic pollution is just as harmful to the environment as non-recyclable plastic! Moreover, plastic straws and juice pouches are entirely unnecessary.

That’s why we have also launched a petition: The Netherlands must either ban these juice pouches or introduce a deposit system to combat pollution.
