Wandeling van het Boothuis naar ijssalon IJskoud de Beste

Er zijn twee mogelijkheden:

1. Start bij het Boothuis:
   Loop naar de brug die het eiland met het vasteland verbindt. Steek de brug over en sla direct rechtsaf.

2. Loop zonder langs het Boothuis te gaan:
   Laat het Boothuis op het eiland liggen en ga voor de brug linksaf.

Na 125 meter ga je over de Karel van het Reve-brug:

Blijft het paadje volgen met steeds links water tot je bij een stenen trappetje komt met bovenaan een houten klaphek. Ga door het hek en steek recht over (Pieter Calandlaan). Pas op: geen zeebrapad!

Ga verder het Piet Wiedijkpark in:


tot je vrij snel (70 meter) bij het pierenbad (Aldo van Eyck) komt met de gele stippen eromheen.

Walk from the Boothuis to ice cream parlor IJskoud de Beste

Er zijn twee mogelijkheden:

1. Starting at the Boothuis:
   Walk to the bridge that connects the island to the mainland. Cross the bridge and turn right immediately.

2. Bypassing the Boothuis:
   Leave the Boothuis on the island and turn left before the bridge.

After 125 meters, cross the Karel van het Reve Bridge:

and immediately turn left (you can see the path in the photo). Go under the Cornelis Lelylaan viaduct and enter the Natuurtuin de Wiedijk.

Keep following the path with the water on your left until you reach a small stone staircase with a wooden gate at the top. Go through the gate and cross straight over Pieter Calandlaan. Be careful: there is no zebra crossing!

Continue into Piet Wiedijkpark:


until you quickly reach the paddling pool (Aldo van Eyck) with the yellow dots around it, about 70 meters ahead.
