Wandeling van het Van Eesteren Paviljoen naar de Mooiste Markt

Er zijn twee mogelijkheden:

1. Start bij het Van Eesteren paviljoen:
   Ga naar buiten en steek Noordzijde direct over aan de kant waar het benzinestation niet is.

2. Loop zonder langs het Van Eesteren Paviljoen te gaan:
   Ga linksaf als je het benzinestation ziet en laat Buiten aan je rechterkant liggen.

Je loopt naar de verkeerslichten en steekt over naar de kant van het benzinestation. Langs de Burgemeester Röellstraat loopt nog een voetpad naar de Burgemeester Hogguerstraat (dit straatnaambord was in maart 2025 onleesbaar, maar met water van het benzinestation heb ik het voor je schoongemaakt):


Als je dit pad volgt zie je een klein paadje aan je linkerhand dat tussen het Mundus College en het dijklichaam van de Burgemeester Röellstraat loopt:


Je loopt dit pad helemaal af en aan het einde ga je linksaf onder het viaduct door.

Je hebt nog iets tegoed: over peukenzuilen, zoals je die bij New Metropolis kon zien.

Bij de eerste kruizing tussen de Louis Couperusstraat en de Burgemeester van de Pollstraat kijk je naar links en zie de verplaatste Stoute Rode Bak, die in deze wandeling voorkomt:


Steek de Louis Couperusstraat over en daarna ook de Burgemeester van de Pollstraat. Aan de overkant vervolg je je weg in deze richting:


Bij de zijstraat aan je rechterhand met een fietspad ga je rechtsaf richting sluis:


Sta je op de brug met uitzicht over de sluis?

Walk from the Van Eesteren Paviljoen to the Mooiste Markt

There are two possibilities:

1. Starting at the Van Eesteren paviljoen:
   Go outside and cross Noordzijde immediately on the side where the gas station is not.

2. Bypassing the Van Eesteren Paviljoen:
   Turn left when you see the gas station and keep Buiten on your right.

Walk to the traffic lights and cross to the side of the gas station. Along Burgemeester Röellstraat, there is a footpath leading to Burgemeester Hogguerstraat (in March 2025, this street sign was unreadable, but I cleaned it for you using water from the gas station).


If you follow this path, you will see a small trail on your left that runs between Mundus College and the embankment of Burgemeester Röellstraat:


Follow this trail all the way to the end, then turn left and go under the viaduct.

You still have something coming: about cigarette butt bins, like the ones you saw at New Metropolis.

At the first intersection between Louis Couperusstraat and Burgemeester van de Pollstraat, look to your left and you’ll see the relocated Stoute Rode Bak, which appears in this walk.


Cross Louis Couperusstraat and then Burgemeester van de Pollstraat. On the other side, continue in this direction.


At the side street on your right with a bike path, turn right towards the lock.
